Sandra Lee Jacobson was accused of sideswiping a taxi on Pena Boulevard on Jan. 28th, killing Kathleen Krasniewicz and Kate McClelland as it rolled over an embankment.
She was freed on $50,000 bond when she was reported for driving on a suspended license in Arapahoe County. She was then arrested and again, freed on another $50,000 bond.
Denver District Attorney Mitch Morrissey has requested to now increase the bail noting Jacobson’s long reckless driving record.
Jacobson’s previously scheduled hearing will take place on Thursday where the new bail amount may be set.
