A motorcyclist was killed on Monday during the afternoon while traveling on C-470 just east of the Ken Caryl exit.
The 73 year old man, identified as Emory Brocher of Littleton, was driving his 1999 Kawasaki motorcycle when a Chrysler had lost control and slammed into the bike and two other cars.
19 year old, Brock Hornung of Arvada was driving the Chrysler westbound on c_470 when he veered off to the left side of the road and hit a post. This caused him to lose control of his vehicle and cross over into the eastbound lanes where he collided with the other vehicles.
The passengers of one of the vehicles were not injured, but a 77 year old driver of the other vehicle suffered minor injuries.
It is not sure if alcohol or drugs contributed to the accident, but they are not suspected at this time.
