More than a dozen police cars were racing through Denver yesterday in a high speed pursuit with a drunk driver.
The driver was driving a silver truck that was all over sidewalks in downtown LoDo and hit at least two parked vehicles.
The driver later left the truck in Adams County and stole a motorcycle which he then crashed near 78th and Grant St. around 11:15 p.m.
Witnesses in Denver claim the truck was traveling at speeds of around 80 mph and the police were approximately six seconds behind him.
Wes Barbosa, a witness to the pursuit said “Those cops looked so confused, there must have been 30 of them and they didn’t know where this guy was going, they were all over the place,” and that “All of downtown smells like brakes.”
