On Saturday, January 10, a woman from Miami crashed into a Colorado State trooper in Golden, CO. Among the several charges she’s racked up, she now faces charges of DUI after injuring the state trooper.
Brenda Gervais-Moreno, age 42, hit crashed her Buick into 32 year old officer Kirk Firko after the woman failed to stop at a stop sign. Firko was treated at a nearby hospital and released but Gervais-Moreno suffered no injuries.
She is currently being held without bond on suspicion of driving under the influence, disregarding the stop sign, vehicular assault, driving without insurance, driving without valid drivers license, and possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
