On February 18th, at approximately 11:02 p.m. a 40 year old man from Erie was arrested on the 300 block of South McCaslin Blvd. on suspicion of DUI.
Police responded to a call stating that the man appeared to be visibly intoxicated and was attempting to get into his car.
When the man refused to leave his car, the police struggled to pull him out. He refused to take a breathalyzer or blood test and was taken to Boulder County Jail.
The man is now claiming police brutality and that he was placed under false arrest.
